This easy, stir-together sauce is the perfect condiment for spicy and/or rich foods.

Onion Raita

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain whole-milk yogurt
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Whisk yogurt, cumin, sugar, and salt in bowl until thoroughly combined. Stir in onion and cilantro. Season with salt to taste. Serve.
