Korean BBQ Pork Ribs

Ingredients

  • 2 slabsbaby back ribs (5 to 7 pound s)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup cooking rice wine (or white wine)
  • 2 tablespoon ssesame oil
  • 4 tablespoon shoney
  • 2 tablespoon sbrown sugaruse regular sugar if unavailable
  • 3 tablespoon sminced garlic (8 or 9 plump clove s) See note 1
  • 2 tablespoon sfinely grated gingerSee note 1
  • 1/2 medium onion, gratedSee note 1
  • 1/2 medium sweet apple, gratedSee note 1
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2/3 cup Korean red pepper paste (gochujang, 고추장)
  • 1 to 3 teaspoon sKorean red chili pepper flakes (gochugaru, 고추가루)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice wine (or mirin or white wine)
  • 2 tablespoon ssesame oil
  • 4 tablespoon shoney
  • 2 tablespoon sbrown sugarUse regular sugar if unavailable
  • 3 tablespoon sminced garlicSee note 1
  • 2 tablespoon sgrated gingerSee note 1
  • 1/2 medium onion, gratedSee note 1

  1. Prepare the ingredients for the marinade of your choice. Mix all of the ingredients well.
