Southern-Style Collard Greens

Ingredients

  • medium sweet onions, finely chopped
  • smoked ham hocks
  • clove sgarlic, finely chopped
  • (32-ounce) containerschicken broth
  • (1-pound) packagescollard greens, trimmed
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • tablespoon swhite sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ssalt, or to taste
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste

Instructions

  2. Combine onions, ham hocks, and garlic in a stockpot; add chicken broth and simmer over medium heat until meat is falling off the bone, 1 to 2 hours. Allrecipes / Qi Ai
