Ingredients
- 6 Lee Kum Kee Bao Bun - Creamy Custard
- 60 ml Sweet sauce (such as caramel, condensed milk, or chocolate)
- 60 ml Mixed fruits (optional)
- 1-1.5 L Oil for deep frying
- 1-2 Tbsp Powdered sugar (for deep-fried version)
- 1 small cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
- Deep Fried Version
- Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer to 130 150°C.
- Fry the Bao Buns for 2 3 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain well on paper towel.
- Place the fried bao buns and fruits on a serving plate.
- Drizzle with sweet sauce and finish with a light dusting of powdered sugar.
- Steamed Version
- Steam the Bao Buns for 10 minutes.
- Place the steamed bao buns on a serving plate
- Drizzle with condensed milk and serve warm.
