Ingredients
- cup sgluten-free all-purpose flour blend
- teaspoon sgluten-free baking powder
- teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- cup buttermilk
- egg
- teaspoon svanilla extra ct
- cup chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Combine white sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and oil in a separate bowl; stir in buttermilk, egg, and vanilla extract. Add buttermilk mixture to flour mixture; mix until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Spoon 1/2 batter into the prepared pan.
- Combine 1/3 cup brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl; reserve 2 tablespoons for topping. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon mixture on batter in loaf pan; cover with remaining batter. Gently drag a knife through batter to create a swirl. Sprinkle reserved 2 tablespoons cinnamon mixture on top of loaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, 50 to 60 minutes. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then remove from the pan and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Tips
Instead of buttermilk you can use 1 cup milk mixed with 1/2 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice.
