Ingredients
- cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- teaspoon ground cinnamon
- teaspoon vanilla extra ct
- (8 ounce) packagesrefrigerated crescent roll dough
- small Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and quart ered
- (12 fluid ounce) can or bottlecaffeinated citrus-flavored soda (such as Mountain Dew)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Heat sugar, butter, cinnamon, and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat; set aside.
- Divide crescent roll dough into 16 triangles. Roll 1 apple quarter with 1 dough triangle; arrange in the prepared pan. Pour butter mixture over wrapped apples; pour soda on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 40 to 45 minutes.
