Apple Spice Cake

Ingredients

  • cup sall-purpose flour
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • cup butter, softened
  • cup swhite sugar
  • large eggs
  • teaspoon baking soda
  • tablespoon warm water
  • teaspoon vanilla extra ct
  • apples - peeled, cored and chopped
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 10 inch tube pan. Allrecipes/Diana Chistruga
  2. Cover raisins with warm water and let soak for 10 minutes; drain. Allrecipes/Diana Chistruga
  3. Whisk flour, spices, and salt together in a bowl; set aside. Allrecipes/Diana Chistruga
  4. Beat butter and sugar together in a large bowl until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir baking soda and 1 tablespoon warm water together until smooth; stir into sugar mixture. Allrecipes/Diana Chistruga
