Gingerbread French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • eggs
  • tablespoon white sugar
  • teaspoon srum extra ct
  • teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground clove s
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • slice swhite bread
  • tablespoon unsalted butter, or as needed

Instructions

  1. Whisk milk, eggs, sugar, rum extract, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger together in a bowl. Dip each bread slice in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides.
  2. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add bread slices in a single layer; cook until golden brown, 3 to 5 minutes per side.
