Oreo Cheesecake Brownies

Oreo Cheesecake Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1(8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoon svanilla extra ct
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • \1 1/3 cup scoarsely chopped Oreo cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line an 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the ½ cup unsalted butter . Whisk in ¾ cup granulated sugar and boil for about a minute. Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes.
  3. In a mixer, beat together 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened ¾ cup powdered sugar , and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract for about one minute.
  4. In a medium sized bowl, sift together 1 cup all purpose flour , ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder , and ½ teaspoon salt then set aside.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, add the 2 large eggs and whisk until combined. Whisk in the butter and sugar mixture.
  6. Next, add the flour mixture until combined. Fold in the 1 ⅓ cups coarsely chopped Oreo cookies
  7. Spread half of the brownie mixture in the prepared pan. Spread the cream cheese mixture on top. Drop the remaining batter on top of the cheesecake in spoonfuls. Swirl cheesecake with a knife.
  8. Bake for 24 28 minutes until set and the toothpick inserted in the center is clean. Let cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
