Most pre-made lemonade is sweet and sugary with not enough lemon. We wanted to find a way to maximize the bright flavor of fresh fruit and add just enough sweetness.

Ingredients
- 2 cup sfresh strawberries
- 1 large lemon , slice d thin, ends discarded
- 1 1/2 cup ssugar
- 7 cup scold water
- 2 cup sfresh lemon juice (from about 12 lemons)
- Ice (for serving)
Instructions
- Using potato masher, mash strawberries, lemon slices, and sugar in deep bowl until slices release their juice and sugar begins to dissolve. Stir in water and lemon juice until sugar completely dissolves. Strain out mashed berries and lemon slices and chill or pour over ice before serving.
