Sharon's No-Bake Granola Bars

Sharon's No-Bake Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup squick oats
  • cup sgranola (such as Kashi®)
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seed kernels
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries (such as Craisins®)
  • 1/4 cup ground flax seeds
  • 2/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix quick oats, granola, sunflower seeds, chocolate chips, raisins, dried cranberries, and ground flax seeds together in a large bowl.
  2. Combine peanut butter, honey, and brown sugar together in a saucepan, stirring constantly over medium low heat until sugar melts, about 5 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat and pour peanut butter mixture over cereal mixture, stirring until well blended. Press mixture firmly into 9x13 inch pan. Cut into 16 bars.

Tips

Any type or flavor peanut butter may be used. My favorite is Planters Cherry Chocolate(R). The same amount of any dried fruit or nuts may be substituted.
