10 Great Stir Fry Recipes, One Amazing Sauce

Ingredients

  • 200 g1/7 oz fresh chow mein egg noodles
  • 2 cup sChinese cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrot, shredded
  • 100 g1/4 oz chicken(or beef or pork) slice d against the grain
  • 2 shallot/scallion stems, cut into 2″1/4 cm slice s
  • 3 garlic clove s, minced
  • 1 1/2 tbsp oil
  • 1/4 cup Real Chinese All Purpose Stir Fry Sauce
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Prepare noodles according to packet instructions.
  2. Heat oil in wok over high heat. Add garlic and sauté for 10 seconds, then add the chicken and sauté until just cooked and nicely browned.
  3. Add the cabbage and carrot, stir fry for 30 seconds, then add the Sauce and water and let it cook for 30 seconds until the Sauce starts to thicken.
  4. Then add the noodles and shallots and toss to coat with the sauce, then serve immediately.

Tips

if you are using dried noodles, you may need more water as the noodles will absorb more liquid. The noodles are ready when most of the liquid is cooked out/absorbed. Serve immediately.
