Slow Cooker Sausage and Peppers

Ingredients

  • sweet Italian sausage links
  • hot Italian sausage links
  • red bell pepper, slice d
  • sweet onion, slice d
  • green bell pepper, slice d
  • yellow bell pepper, slice d
  • clove sgarlic, minced
  • (24 ounce) jarRagu® Old World Style® Traditional Pasta Sauce
  • loafhearty bread
  • bunch fresh basil, leaves removed and torn

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook sausages, turning to brown all sides, 4 to 5 minutes.
  2. Place browned sausage in slow cooker. Add the peppers, onions, garlic, and Ragu® Old World Style® Traditional Pasta Sauce to the slow cooker; stir. Turn to low and cook for 6 to 8 hours.
  3. Serve over slices of hearty fresh bread; garnish with fresh basil.
