Ingredients
- acorn squash, halved and seeded
- tablespoon sbutter
- tablespoon spacked brown sugar
Instructions
- Put squash halves, cut side up, on a microwave safe plate or dish. Place 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons brown sugar into the cavity of each half.
- Cook in the microwave on full power until flesh is soft, 8 to 10 minutes. Rotate squash a couple of times to ensure even cooking.
- Scoop out flesh along with sugar and butter and place into a medium bowl. Mash slightly to blend.
- Serve in a bowl or in the squash shells.
