Slow Cooked Apple Brown Betty

Ingredients

  • cup sapples - peeled, cored and diced
  • slice sbread, cubed
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Place apples in a slow cooker.
  2. Toss bread, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together in a medium bowl. Sprinkle evenly over apples; drizzle with melted butter.
  3. Cover and cook on Low for 3 hours, or until apples are tender.
