Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon svegetable oil
- 1/2 cup grated onion
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 cup sketchup
- 3 tablespoon shoisin sauce
- 3 tablespoon ssoy sauce
- 3 tablespoon scider vinegar
- 2 tablespoon sDijon mustard
Instructions
- Heat oil in medium saucepan over medium heat until shimmering. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in ginger, garlic powder, and cayenne and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Stir in ketchup, hoisin, soy sauce, vinegar, and mustard and bring to simmer. Reduce heat to low and cook until flavors meld, about 5 minutes. Let cool completely before serving. (Cooled sauce can be refrigerated for up to 1 week.)
