Pumpkin Pie with Phyllo Crust

Ingredients

  • 16 ounce sPumpkin Puree
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoon sflour
  • 1/2 packet of phyllo dough(8 oz)
  • 3/4 cup unsalted buttermelted
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon shoney.
  • 1/2 a stick of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, add sugar, water, lemon juice and honey. Stir and drop half a stick of cinnamon. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Set aside and let it cool completely.
