Cook the 1 pound penne pasta noodles, according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
While the pasta is cooking, make the three cheese alfredo sauce. In a large skillet add ½ cup unsalted butter , 2 cups heavy whipping cream , and 4 ounces cream cheese . Cook over medium heat and whisk until melted. Add the 1 cup grated parmesan cheese .
Add the ½ teaspoon minced garlic , 1 teaspoon garlic powder , 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning , ¼ teaspoon salt , and ¼ teaspoon pepper . Continue to whisk until smooth.
Bring to a simmer and continue to cook for about 3 5 minutes or until it starts to thicken. Add 1 cup mozzarella cheese and stir until melted.
Add the pasta, 2 cups cooked and diced chicken , and 2 cups steamed broccoli to the skillet and toss to coat Garnish with optional shredded parmesan cheese for garnish cheese if desired, and serve.
