Ingredients
- cup swater
- 1/2 cup ssplit black lentils
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- clove sgarlic, chopped
- teaspoon swhite sugar
- teaspoon skosher salt
- teaspoon scurry powder, or more to taste
- teaspoon turmeric powder
- (1 inch) piece fresh ginger root, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Combine water, lentils, onion, garlic, sugar, salt, curry powder, turmeric, and ginger root in slow cooker.
- Cook on High for 5 hours. Stir cream into lentils until warmed through.
