Brown Sugar Meatloaf with Ketchup Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ssalt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 pound slean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup scroutons, crushed
  • small onion, chopped
  • eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios
  2. Stir ketchup, brown sugar, salt, and chili powder together in a bowl until smooth. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios
  3. Spread a small amount of ketchup mixture into the bottom of the prepared loaf pan. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios
  4. Mix ground beef, croutons, onion, eggs, milk, and black pepper together in a large bowl. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios
