Ingredients
- tbsp olive oil
- pound ground beef
- small onion, finely diced
- (15 ounce) can sblack beans, undrained
- (14.5 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- tsp garlic powder
- tbsp italian seasoning
- tsp smoked paprika
- tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tbsp chili powder
- tbsp apple cider vinegar
- cup scheddar cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef; cook and stir until slightly browned. Add onion and cook until onion has softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in beans, tomatoes, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, and apple cider vinegar. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until flavors are well blended, about 20 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Turn off heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until fully combined and melty.
- Serve with fresh avocado, sour cream, and/or additional cheese, if desired.
