Slow Cooker Cactus Chili

Ingredients

  • pound sground beef
  • large onion, chopped
  • (28 ounce) can sdiced tomatoes
  • (15.25 ounce) can sblack beans, drained
  • (15.25 ounce) can syellow corn, drained
  • (30 ounce) jardiced nopales (cactus)
  • (8 ounce) can tomato paste
  • tablespoon schili powder
  • tablespoon swhite sugar
  • chipotle pepper, chopped
  • teaspoon sgarlic powder
  • teaspoon ground cumin
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat; cook and stir until beef browned, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a slow cooker.
  2. Stir in diced tomatoes, black beans, corn, nopales, tomato paste, chili powder, sugar, chipotle pepper, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cover slow cooker.
  3. Cook on Low until flavors combine, about 4 hours.
