Penne Russo à la Vodka

Ingredients

  • (16 ounce) packagedry penne pasta
  • teaspoon olive oil
  • ounce sprosciutto, chopped
  • clove sgarlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • (16 ounce) can swhole peeled tomatoes
  • cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add penne and cook in boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 11 minutes. Drain and set aside. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios
